Preparation and Anticipation

The time has finally arrived. The team has begun assembling in DC. The bags have been packed and the liquids safely contained. We are 24 hours away from embarking on our trip. In addition to last minute preparations, we have already starting bonding as a team. As the anticipation builds, each team member had shared what they are most looking forward to about our adventure.

Brittany can't wait to work with the kids in the villages for the VBS lessons and reach as many people as possible!

Amy is excited to share her experience on her first mission trip to Uganda, Africa.

Matt is most looking forward to getting to pour into the children and building in his own faith while using his story and trials as a means to teach them about the gospel.

Craig is excited to enable others in their walk with Christ in Uganda.

Nicole is most excited about what we will learn from the Ugandan people. She is excited to learn about their relationship with God and see just how big his love his. And she is excited to learn a new culture.

Alex is most excited experiencing the people and culture.

Ali is most excited to interact with and learn a new culture while also serving the people of the Uganda. She is excited to physically demonstrate God’s love to the people of Uganda.

We will be flying out of Dulles Airport at 5:40 pm tomorrow night. We will land in Brussels Monday morning at 7:15 am local time. Our flight for Uganda leaves at 10:25 am and be on the ground in Uganda at 7:35 pm local Uganda time Monday night. Be in prayer as we make our final preparations and pray for safety on our flights.
